As
mentioned, the courses are offered at Thermwood's production
facility, where the assets to provide the best training possible
are available. Over the years, Thermwood has experienced the
ups and downs of training at the customer's facility, the interruptions
and distractions, not to mention the lack of classroom facilities
and equipment. At Thermwood, the atmosphere contributes to the
learning experience. Each of our classrooms is setup specifically
for the course being taught.
Our
machine operator/programmer courses are located adjacent to
the machine training lab, where the student can complete the
prescribed projects on a specific training machine utilized
for only training purposes only. By the way, these machines
are not shared by our demo facilities. Our application software
classes are conducted in a classroom with state-of-art computers.
Then when it comes time for practical application, Thermwood's
machine training lab has a Model 40 outfitted with all the bells-and-whistles.
Parts can be cut. What a confidence builder!
Our
maintenance classes are conducted on real machines not a simulator
or carcass. The student will receive a real hands-on look at
a Thermwood, so be prepared to get your hands dirty.
