We started our woodworking business in 1994 and have been continually growing from the time we opened our door. During the years of 2002 and 2003 we were constantly behind on production. Due to our working space confinement, we had two shifts and were working 7 days a week. Knowing we either had to down size our company or make a step forward in order to survive we decided to consider purchasing a CNC Router. We went to the 2003 AWFS Fair in Anaheim, CA pretty much knowing that we wanted to purchase a CNC Router. At the time we didn’t know which company to purchase from. We had done some research and knew going to the show to actually see the machines and talk to the sales representatives would help us decide. Every company was impressive in one respect or another. However, Thermwood’s Account Manager was instrumental in our decision by taking the time to answer the questions we had and the ones we never thought to ask. There were three deciding factors to purchase from Thermwood. 1. Their machine. 2. The technical support and service that they provide. 3. It is made in the USA. We feel the technical support is an important factor whether you’re a novice or seasoned CNC owner. Down time on a machine is non productive and Thermwood has been there to get us back up and running in a timely manner. Through the help of one of Thermwood’s on site programmers we were able to quickly get set up on one of our most difficult parts that requires 4 custom tools and 8 tool changes. The precision of the Thermwood CNC Router has enabled us to provide a higher quality product in a much shorter amount of time. We have gone back to a schedule of one shift 5 days a week and are not only able to stay ahead of production but have also expanded our business. Thermwood’s professionalism from their Sales Reps, Instructors, Programmers and Technicians has proven that we made the right choice in our purchase. Through our experience with them in the last 15 months we would rate them an A+ company. |
